2 years on the web and now it's beginning to be a tradition, the launch of the new version of the site: AndreiSef.20m.com for the 2003-2004 season! I am the same Andrei Seferian, a BIG AC Parma fan from Romania and I like to think, seein the statistics, that my website has become a favorite Parma fan news&comments site. Like always: Let's all hope that Parma will give us this season many reasons to celebrate. Forza Parma!

Editorial

A new season! After the joy of watching again high-class football from Serie A, we see again Parma lose their best player: A.Mutu . It will be hard without him, but if the mentality changes and we begin to play every match with the thought of winning we have a pretty good season in prospect. Prandelli's chosen team formation is 4-2-3-1. In the defence there is only a change on the left side: Seric, instead of Junior (time will tell if it is for the better). The defensive midfielders are:
Barone and Blasi, arrived on loan from Juve at the place of Appiah. The attacking midfields that will try to do better than last year trident (Nakata-Mutu-Adriano, here including the only true striker we still have)are: Nakata, Morfeo and Bresciano; the 2nd came from Inter part-exchange with Lamouchi. Further comments about the tactics will be available after the first days of the league.

Parma show in the 1st half of the game: continuing pressing in the opponents' half, perfect ball circulation, lots of oportunities, a post and a goal from Adriano. Bologna scored a stupid goal at the only second Parma were asleep. The 2nd half was more equal, Locatelli scoring 20 seconds after he entered the pitch at the place of Signori with Adriano striking another post and than scoring with a superb header after a Marchionni cross. In the past 6 years Parma have never won at Bologna and they never won the first game of the season. This year we had a chance to do both, but we continued the "tradition".

Adriano scored for Parma a vital away goal and so the GialloBlus will have a much easier return leg. Prandelli used his backup team, sending on the pitch: Junior, Filippini or Giladino that didn't get many chances to play in the league. The first half was dominated by the ukrainians, but the second which saw again Adriano on the pitch was a GialloBlu affair. The boys should have won it after Adriano's equalising header.

To sum up I don't there will be problems for the boys when they play the return game on October the 15th at Tardini.
